Regina police say they are investigating an attempted murder after a 30-year-old man suffered from a gunshot injury.

At around 7:50 a.m. on Wednesday, police were called to a Regina hospital for a man with a gunshot wound.

The 30-year-old man, who is from Regina, is still in hospital due to his injuries.

Police said investigators have not yet been able to determine where the incident happened or the events leading up to it.

Police also said they do not know if there is a connection between the shooting and another incident at around 7:40 a.m., when a window was shot out at a house on the 1400 block of Robinson Street.

According to police, there is no known connection at this time to the shooting on Victoria Avenue on June 20.
