The kickoff to the summer season of New West Theatre is right around the corner, with its first music-comedy revue: Jukebox, opening June 27.
“Before Spotify and iTunes, there were jukeboxes,” reads the show’s synopsis. They held the greatest vinyl hits of their days, from country to rock and roll.
New West Theatre is celebrating the diversity of the fun of jukeboxes in a show filled with hits from the 1950s to the 1970s, with a bit of comedy mixed in.

Erica Hunt is returning to the stage for another season with the company and said audiences can expect to see more familiar faces, along with some new ones.
“There’s a lot of fresh faces in the cast this year, so that’s quite exciting. They always bring a new energy and a new level of performance as well as lots of fun ideas,” Hunt said.
Jukebox runs from June 27 to July 16 at the Yates Theatre. This is the first of three music-comedy revues of the season. The next is Heatwave, which runs during the month of August.
