When two people are fighting, sometimes they’re told to ‘take it outside’.
An event held Saturday night in Winnipeg’s Exchange District not only took the fight outside, it took the whole ring.
The charity boxing event “‘Take It Outside Again’ featured amateurs, white collar, even local celebrity’s all exchanging jabs to raise money.

Organized by Pan Am Boxing Co., the event raises money for Pan Am Place, a residence for at-risk men between the ages of 18 and 25.
“Pan Am Boxing clinic is run by 35 volunteers, and we’ve all pulled together to raise funds for this cause,” said Pan Am Boxing Head Coach, Harry Black.
“This is a great story in terms of what the community can do in developing a club where we have general membership and getting behind a purpose that’s going to help a specific demographic that’s really in need and not being helped through other agencies.”
The main event featured Hot 103 Radio’s Ace Burpee against ‘Lloyd The Intern’.
‘Take It Outside’ is in its second year, but Black said it grew considerably from last year. Final fundraiser numbers were not available.
