Nordstrom’s shoe tying class takes the stress off Calgary parents

One of the life lessons every child learns is how to tie their shoes.

These days most kids wear slip-on shoes or ones with Velcro straps when they’re younger, and they don’t learn how to tie up laces until they’re in school.

For parents it can be frustrating teaching a child how to tie their shoes, so Calgary retailer Nordstrom offers a monthly shoe tying class.

Besides teaching the skill, it’s also an opportunity to measure a child’s shoe size correctly and teach parents about a proper fit for life.
