RCMP have arrested two men after finding 2,000 marijuana plants and a pound of dried marijuana buds in a home in Dow Settlement, NB.
Police executed a search warrant at the home on Route 122 on June 13.
Police say the plants could have yielded upwards of one million marijuana joints.
Two men from Dow Settlement were arrested at the home. They have been released and will appear in Woodstock Provincial Court on September 27, 2016.
This is the second significant seizure of marijuana in the Woodstock and Perth-Andover areas in the last week.
On June 6, police seized more than 1,100 marijuana plants and roughly 13 pounds of processed marijuana during a search of a home in Bairdsville, N.B.
Christopher Kevin Jamieson appeared in Woodstock provincial court on June 9, and was charged with production of marijuana, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of weapons contrary to a court order and unsafe storage of firearms and ammunition.
He remains in custody and will return to court on July 13.
