Home invasion suspects threatened to kill 3-year-old

TORONTO – Police are investigating after a brazen home invasion left a three-year-old boy tied up and threatened over the weekend.

It was on Sunday at 3:24p.m. when police responded to a call in a home near the Sheppard Avenue East and Neilson Road area.

It’s reported that two men broke into the house, one armed with a handgun, and tied up the three residents inside including the child.

The suspects threatened to kill the child if money was not turned over. A quantity of jewelry and cash were stolen before the two robbers fled the scene.

The first suspect is described as white, 25-35, 6’2″, slim build, with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, and a light-coloured grey tracksuit.

The second suspect is white, 25-35, 5’3″-5’5″. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask.
