Selkirk RCMP are looking for a man they say stole over $2,000 worth of meat from the Safeway in Selkirk – using the store’s own dolly to assist in the heist.
Police were called to the store around 9:30 p.m. on July 25 after a man entered the store and stole the frozen goods. A spokesperson from Safeway told Global News the suspect entered a backroom meat and seafood cooler, and stacked up to 130 packages of meat onto a staff dolly and rolled it out the back emergency door.

Canada Safeway spokesman John Graham says theft of smaller amounts of groceries is unfortunately common, but this incident is unusually large.
Police released security camera images of the man in the store.
