One of the two missing capybaras, making worldwide headlines for their daring escape from a Toronto zoo, has been caught, according to Parkdale-High Park Councillor Sarah Doucette.
The elusive rodents, dubbed Bonnie and Clyde, have been on the lam for more than two weeks despite numerous sightings.
The six months old capybaras were first reported missing on May 24 after they escaped during an animal transfer at High Park Zoo.

Since then, crews have been working overnight to try to capture them without success.
The animals — which resemble giant hamsters — are technically the largest rodents in the world, with the pair weighing around 15 kg each.
