Canadian snags second place at GolfBC Championship in Kelowna

KELOWNA — It’s been five days and four rounds of play at Gallagher’s Canyon Golf and Country Club. This is the first year for the event, with a focus on raising money for the BC Cancer Foundation, while offering a platform for young players who want to take the next step on their path to the PGA Tour.

The winner of the tournament is Dan McCarthy from the U.S.A., who finished 25 under par.

Vancouver-native Ryan Williams took second place with 18 under par.

American Caleb Sturgeon placed third.
