WINNIPEG – It may be the middle of June but hockey is on the minds of many Winnipeggers this weekend.
The two-day Canadian Hockey Expo started Saturday morning at the Convention Centre.

It’s billed as “Canada’s largest hockey expo” by organizers.
The event gives hockey families the opportunity to look at equipment, training strategies, and fitness programs well before the upcoming season.
Proceeds from a gala event at the Expo will go towards KidSport Winnipeg.
