PEACHLAND – The provincial government is asking for public input into future highway improvements in Peachland.
They include a possible Highway 97 bypass in the hills west of the community.

In an information bulletin, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure states: “Over the past six months, the ministry has been collecting and analysing data and meeting with local stakeholders in order to develop an up-to-date understanding of existing and future conditions on the Highway 97 corridor in Peachland and is ready to share the results with the community.”
An open house will be held Tuesday, June 21 at the Peachland Community Centre from 4:30-8:00 p.m.
