It was a hectic scene in Chinatown Tuesday morning when a local restaurant caught fire.
The Jade Dynasty Chinese restaurant, on East Pender Street, was engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived on scene.

Crews worked quickly to prevent the fire from spreading to the upper floors of the building.
Fortunately, no one was inside at the time and no injuries have been reported.
It appears an electrical panel problem caused the fire.
