SaskTel services restored in several communities east of Regina

***UPDATE: All SaskTel services were restored around midnight Thursday according to the company.

SaskTel said an outside contractor cut the cable that halted services to 13 communities and has apologized for the inconvenience.

The company confirmed last night that a cable was cut in the Balgonie area affecting landline, cellular, and Internet services.

Customers living in Balgonie, Corning, Cowesses, Grenfell, Kipling, Langbank, McLean, Ochapowace, Peebles, Wapella, Wawota, Whitewood, and Wolseley, and the surrounding areas, were affected.
