Two teenage boys and a mother were injured in a collision Thursday afternoon in southern Alberta.
Coaldale RCMP said two vehicles were involved in a T-bone crash at around 4 p.m. when a Pontiac heading eastbound on Township Road 100 didn’t yield to a northbound Dodge Neon at Range Road 225.
There were four people inside the Pontiac, a mother and three children between the ages of six and 15. The mother suffered head injuries, a 15-year-old boy sustained a broke arm and leg injuries, a 13-year-old also suffered broken bones. All three were taken to the Lethbridge Regional hospital. None of the injuries are considered life threatening, RCMP said.
The fourth person in the vehicle wasn’t injured.

The driver of the Dodge was taken to hospital as a precaution to receive treatment for a neck injury.
The intersection was closed to traffic for several hours as the vehicles did serious damage to a power line pole. Fortis Alberta responded to the scene to shut off power and worked to replace the pole.
The Coaldale RCMP is investigating possible charges. Police said there was no drugs or alcohol involved in the crash.
