Ontario driver who blew four-times the legal limit nearly hits cruiser: Police

Police allege a man was driving drunk over four times the legal limit when his pickup truck drove through an intersection and nearly slammed into a police cruiser in Caledon, Ont.

Provincial police say the pickup went on to crash into another vehicle during the incident the afternoon of May 19

Officers quickly arrested the driver of the vehicle.

Shane Fleming, 28 of Everett, Ont., is charged with driving while impaired and driving with more than 80 mgs. of alcohol. He’s due in court Thursday.

Police say his licence has been suspended for 90 days and the pickup impounded for a week.
