Usain Bolt defends Olympic 100-metre title

Usain Bolt of Jamaica has defended his Olympic 100-metre title, winning the final on Sunday in London.

He did it by breaking his own Olympic record clocking a time of 9.63 seconds. His training partner Yohan Blake finished second. American Justin Gatlin placed third.

It was the fastest Olympic 100-metre final ever. Seven sprinters came in under 10 seconds.

Canadian Justyn Warner did not make it to the final. He finished 13th in the semi-final.
