Vaughan double stabbing suspect turns himself in

TORONTO – A man wanted in connection to a double stabbing that left one man dead and another in hospital has turned himself in.

York Regional Police said on Twitter that 28-year-old Nema Mansouri is now custody.

He was sought on charges of second degree murder and attempted murder.

The stabbing occurred shortly before midnight on Wednesday, on Colombo Crescent, in the Jane Street and Teston Road area in Vaughan.

As police arrived on scene, they found two male victims suffering from stab wounds. Both victims were rushed to hospital, where one, a 22-year old man, succumbed to his injuries.

The 27-year old victim remains in serious but stable condition, according to police.
