Toronto police are asking for help identifying a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted on a subway train, only to be threatened by her attacker days later when encountering him on the subway again.
The suspect sat down next to the 22-year-old woman on a train heading south from Finch Station May 13 and sexually assaulted her when she stood up, according to police.
She then confronted him, and he assaulted her again before fleeing.
Police say the woman ran into the man again six days later, again at Finch Station. He produced a weapon before taking off, they said.
The man is described as approximately 30, 5’9″, thin build, with black unkempt hair. He was wearing a beige undershirt, black leather combat boots, green army-style camouflage jacket and pants.
Police released surveillance images of him Wednesday and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
