The Rush advanced to the Champion’s Cup Final best-of-three series with a victory over the Calgary Roughnecks this past weekend in front of a sellout crowd of 15,192 – the largest turnout for a sporting event in SaskTel Centre’s 27 years of operation.

Three of the five largest sports crowds at the arena have been Rush games. This is the team’s first season in Saskatoon after relocating from Edmonton this past off-season.

Saskatchewan plays the Buffalo Bandits first on May 28 at First Niagara Center. Game 2 will be held at SaskTel Centre on June 4 and, if necessary, Game 3 will be played back in the U.S. on June 11.

The Bandits won the only meeting of the regular season between the two teams, slipping past the Rush 19-18 in overtime back in February.
