Okanagan campers defy wet long weekend

“It’s the busiest spring we have on record so far, hands down,” says park manager Patrick Lacey.

“We found out there was a site cancelling, so we were online, just go, go, go, and finally we got it,” says Doug Adams, who’s staying at the park.

“I’m having fun playing at the park, I’ve made friends,” says Adams’ son Greg. “Sometimes my brother and I play catch in the field, so I’m happy I got booked here.”

“We’re Canadian,” says Misha Willson.

“I’m just glad it’s not going to snow.
