Charges pending after car collides with Saskatoon bank

A woman was hospitalized after a car crashed into a Saskatoon bank Tuesday. Police were called to the single-vehicle collision in the 300-block of 33rd Street West just before 11 p.m. CT.

Damage to the side of the Scotiabank building is by the public access area. The initial damage estimate is $40,000.

The lone female occupant of the car was taken to hospital by MD Ambulance with undetermined injuries.

Police say alcohol is believed to be a factor and charges are pending.

Traffic was restricted at 33rd street and Avenue C while officers investigate the scene.
