Calgary Police made several arrests after a takedown in the community of Mayland Heights on Wednesday night.
Officers arrived at Sir John Franklin Junior High school with guns drawn, after reports of shots being fired at cans. The shots turned out to be from a BB gun.

Another similar incident happened overnight on Tuesday.
HAWCS helicopter tracked down three people in the southeast community of New Brighten who were found firing a BB gun at cans.
Police say they haven’t been able to prove any property damage occured so the suspects involved will likely only get bylaw infraction tickets.
