One man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash in the community of Chaparral on Friday.
Emergency crews were called to Chaparral Boulevard S.E. near Chaparral Ravine Way S.E. at around 8:20 a.m.
Police said it appeared the victim was travelling northbound when he lost control of the motorcycle, hitting a curb and then crashing into a bench at a bus stop.

The motorcycle slid another 130 metres before coming to a stop in the right-hand lane.
EMS transported the victim to the Foothills Medical Centre in serious but stable, non-life-threatening condition.
