WINNIPEG — Emergency crews are on scene in Kildonan Park Wednesday morning, after a body was found in the Red River.
Winnipeg police, fire fighters and water rescue teams were on location, and police had parts of the park taped off.
Emergency crews responded at approximately 10:10 a.m. to the banks of the river around the 400 block of Scotia Street.
The body was pulled from the river as it floated northward.
Winnipeg police confirmed the body was a male Wednesday afternoon but the identity is still unknown.
