RCMP look for 2 suspects after woman grabbed while walking on Stony Plain trails

Police are looking for two suspects after a woman reported she was grabbed while walking through the trail system in Stony Plain Monday night.

RCMP said the woman was walking northbound on a path near the Stony Plain Skate Park by 49 Avenue and Brown Street at around 10 p.m. She told police two men came up to her and grabbed her shoulder and tried to pull her off the trail.

She told Mounties she was able to get away to a safe place. RCMP said she was not harmed.

The first suspect is described as:

-Black or aboriginal

-25 to 35 years old

-About 6’0″ tall and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds

-Dark brown or black hair

-Unshaven but did not have a full beard

-Wearing a dark jacket and jeans.

The second suspect is described as:

-Black or aboriginal

-25 to 35 years old

-6’0″ tall and weighing more than 250 pounds

-Clean shaven

-Wearing a dark jacket and jeans.

In April, RCMP were investigating two similar incidents, one of which took place at almost the exact location in March. Nobody has ever been arrested in connection with the April attacks.
