Officials seize fentanyl patches, hash, other drugs at Dorchester penitentiary

Prison officials in Dorchester say more than $63,000 worth of contraband was seized just outside the New Brunswick prison last month.

In a statement released Thursday, officials say tobacco, hashish, nicotine patches and fentanyl patches were found in three packages.

Prison officials say Corrections Canada can’t disclose what will happen to the contraband or if there will be an investigation.
