The Calgary Police Arson Unit is looking for the public’s help after yet another fire at the same house in Marlborough.
This marks the fourth time the home on Marbank Way was set on fire in a month.

The latest fire happened Sunday morning at around 5 a.m. Crews arrived to find smoke and fire in the basement.
There was no one in the home at the time because it was so damaged from the previous fires.
“I have not seen a property catch fire four times in a month myself, and that’s in 34 years, so we’re quite concerned,” Calgary Fire Department District Chief Randy McRae said.
The string of arson started on March 29, when fire was set to a garbage can that spread to a fence. Then on April 1, a fire broke out at the back of the house and four days later, another fire.
The last fire caused $150,000 in damage.
Some people living on the same street have installed security cameras since the fires started happening.
One neighbour who lives next door to the house that caught fire said her cameras captured images of a man trying to get on the scaffolding in the back and then proceeded to set fire to the basement on Sunday.
“And there’s another guy over there who has surveillance cameras and his are facing the street, so if he did run that way maybe the guy caught his actual face. Ours was a little dark, so we don’t really see the face but we saw the guy,” Preet Garrett said.
“We were like we don’t want to live here anymore. So my dad went and talked to my landlord and said if we don’t get surveillance cameras to catch this person, we are moving. So they went and bought a six surveillance cameras and put them all around our house,” Garrett said. “I was a little upset. I actually thought it was over, it had stopped for a while and it was nice.”
Last week police released a number of images of a person of interest in the case. Investigators believe the residents of the home are being targeted but they’re not saying why.

Neighbours have suggested it’s a dispute that escalated between the culprit and a man who lives at the home. It’s left people in the area worrying about what might happen if another fire breaks out.
“We have a two-year-old and a four-month-old and a new baby on the way. It’s not good for children, especially right next-door,” Garrett said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Calgary police or contact Crime Stoppers.
