VERNON–The Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP brought down a marijuana grow-operation in a house in the 2400 block of 15th Street in Vernon on Wednesday night.
The residence is near the Vernon Secondary School.

Police seized over 10 kilograms of marijuana, as well as equipment used in the production of marijuana.
“The location of the grow-op was particularly concerning because it is a residential area and very close to a school,” said Cst. Jocelyn Noseworthy.
Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP are still investigating.
No charges have been laid at this time.
