LONGUEUIL – A 25-year-old man is dead after being seriously injured Thursday morning in Vieux-Longueuil.
The accident happened around 9:30 a.m.
According to Longueuil police, the worker was pruning trees on Perron Boulevard near Labonté Sreet, and was electrocuted.

It has been classified as a work accident.
Police officers and investigators with the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) were on the scene to determine how the accident happened.
