The woman found dead along highway 22X over the weekend has been identified.
24-year-old Stephanie Gingras of Calgary was found dead outside of a vehicle in the area of Spruce Meadows Trail and 53 Street Southwest, around 11 p.m. on Saturday.
Investigators have interviewed the 40-year-old man who had been driving the vehicle and said he is co-operating with them.

One witness told Global News the driver was frantic when police arrived.
Rob Richardson was one of the first people to arrive on scene, and said he pulled up as the driver told police the victim had somehow exited the vehicle while he drove down the highway.
“He said that him and the lady that he was with were in a big fight, and she wanted to get out of the vehicle as they were driving down the highway. From what he said, he was slowing down to pull over and the next thing… he looked over and she was gone,” says Richardson.
Police haven’t ruled out the possibility that the death was an accident, and are awaiting toxicology results.
