RCMP have now reopened the area around a Value Village in Coquitlam after a suspicious package was found this morning.
Turns out, it was an inert grenade.

RCMP Cst. Jamie Phillipson said around 10 a.m. they received a call of a suspicious device in a Value Village donation bin.
The store, which is located in the 2700-block of Barnet Highway, was evacuated and the street and sidewalks were cordoned off.
RCMP said the evacuation was precautionary.
