That runoff has now flooded area parks and trails.

Rotary Trails park in West Kelowna is closed after Powers Creek breached its banks, saturating the park and its trail system.

Two underpasses along the Mission Creek Greenway, at Casorso Road and Gordon Drive bridge, are also closed due to flooding along with Glen Canyon Regional Park from Brown Road to and including the Gellatly Road parking area.

The trails and parks will remain closed until they are safe to reopen.
