Owners flee fiery home in Penticton

PENTICTON — Crews were called into action Wednesday morning to fight a mobile home fire in Penticton.

It happened in the Dauphin Park mobile home complex at around 8 a.m.

By the time crews arrived the two people living in the home had escaped safely. Both suffered minor smoke inhalation, but where otherwise unharmed. Credit: Skylar noe-vack

Firefighters were able to contain the flames quickly before they spread to other units, but there was significant damage to the home.

The cause is still under investigation but the fire isn’t believed to be suspicious.
