Saskatoon gas station employee robbed by 2 men armed with a knife

Saskatoon police are asking for help in identifying two suspects responsible for an armed robbery at a gas station last week. Saskatoon Police Service / Supplied

SASKATOON – Police have released a surveillance photo in hopes the public can help solve an armed robbery in Saskatoon. The robbery happened on April 12 at at gas station on corner of Broadway Avenue and 8th Street East.

The employee told police that two masked men entered the business 9:50 p.m. CT , showed him a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes. They then fled from the scene.

No injuries were reported.

Police said one suspect has a very distinctive tattoo on his right forearm.
