$30K of stolen goods recovered by Saskatoon police

SASKATOON – Police say they’ve recovered about $30,000 of stolen goods from an acreage near Viscount. On Saturday, members of the property crimes task force and break and enter unit searched outbuildings and sheds on the property.

They said the recovered goods are believed to have been stolen from rural and city properties including two Polaris snowmobiles, a flatbed trailer, generators, tires and a snow blower.

Saskatoon police have charged a 36-year-old man who was already in the correctional centre awaiting trial on other charges.

He faces two additional counts of possessing stolen property.

Police say they continue to investigate.
