Water levels easing in Shuswap

Hotter and drier temperatures are helping ease river level conditions in the Shuswap.

Shuswap Lake has now dropped below flood stage, according to the B.C. River Forecast. However, the rate of drop may slow in the coming days due to increased snow melt from the hot weather.

A high streamflow advisory is still in effect for Shuswap River at Mabel Lake and around Enderby, however water levels near Enderby are currently declining.
