Open data – Vehicle recalls

Data on vehicle recalls from Transport Canada shows that brand new or newly-remodeled cars are more likely to have multiple recalls than other vehicles. Through Access to Information, we obtained a copy of a database showing every vehicle recall in Canada since the 1970s and analyzed the data.
