Voith Hydro is a family-owned company based in Germany, with Canadian headquarters in Montreal.
Under the $470-million contract, Voith will be responsible for designing, supplying and installing the equipment.
Construction of the Site C Dam began in the summer of 2015, and will finish in 2024.
