Officials confirm a fire that broke out at a Central Okanagan hotel is indeed suspicious.
Early Saturday morning, 200 people were forced to evacuate the Coast Capri Hotel in Kelowna after a report of fire and smoke. No one was hurt.

On Sunday, the Kelowna Fire Department said the fire started at two different points in the hotel: one in the sixth floor exit stairwell landing and the other in a seventh floor storage room.
The investigation has now been turned over to the RCMP.
There is no word yet on a damage estimate.
