WINNIPEG — Emergency crews discovered a grow operation in a North End home early Tuesday morning, after being called to a house fire.

Fire crews were called to a home on the 400 block of Boyd Avenue around 3 a.m., police said.

Officers didn’t find a fire when they arrived, but did discover a marijuana grow operation inside.

No word on arrests, but police are investigating.
