Saskatchewan Party’s Bill Boyd holds on to Kindersley riding

The Saskatchewan Party has retained its seat in the Kindersley riding. Incumbent Bill Boyd won on Saskatchewan election day.

This will be Boyd’s third consecutive term in the riding with the party he help found in 1997. He is the minister responsible for the Global Transportation Hub (GTH), economy and SaskPower.

Boyd was running against four other candidates. One was former Saskatchewan Party MLA Jason Dearborn, who was running this election as an independent candidate.

Dearborn was the Sask. Party MLA for the riding from 2002-07 when Bill Boyd had stepped down.
