An Ontario man is appealing for the public’s help identifying two suspects caught on security camera allegedly robbing the home of his deceased grandmother last week.
Andy Borkowski tells Global News his grandmother passed away two years ago and that the home in Caledon, Ont., north-west of Toronto, has been taken care of by his uncle ever since.
But on March 30, video captured by a security camera showed two men ransacking the deceased grandmother’s house.

“Nonna was proud of her home and she raised a family there,” he said.
“She would be horrified to know someone broke in and ransacked the home she built.”
Borkowski said items stolen included electronics, cash, jewellry, cherished belongings as well as personal information such as passports and birth certificates.
“Overall, we’re mostly upset about the violation. This was our family home for generations and to think that strangers could disrespect that is very alarming,” said Borkowski.
Ontario Provincial Police have been contacted but Borkowski said so far the suspects remain at large.
The video of the robbery has been posted on YouTube with both suspects’ faces visible.
Borkowski is hoping anyone who recognizes the two individuals to contact local authorities.
“We’re hoping that if you recognize anyone in these photographs even slightly to please call the Caledon OPP or CrimeStoppers,” he said.
