A 22-year-old man is dead in a downtown Toronto shooting that left a lengthy trail of blood.
Police responded to reports of four gunshots around 2 a.m. Saturday at Queen and Parliament streets.
They found the man one block south in the parking area of a Richmond Street gas station next to a car smeared with blood.
Paramedics attended but he was declared dead at the scene.
Police followed a trail of blood up the block, where they found shell casings.
Nearby streets were closed as the homicide squad investigated.
The man’s name has not been released and there’s no word yet on suspects.
