Police say McCullough Lake Drive is under water and residents are being asked to evacuate the area as a safety precaution.

The Williamsford Community Centre is serving as an evacuation centre for those affected, and OPP say no injuries have been reported.

Highway 6 is closed between Chatsworth Sideroad 5 and Chatsworth Road 24, and several secondary roads in the area are closed due to high water levels.

The mayor of Chatsworth has declared a state of emergency for the Township of Chatsworth.
