A 79-year-old man has been charged after a car crashed into parked vehicles in Vaughan last fall, killing an elderly passenger in the back seat.
The November incident at the Dufferin Clark Community Centre triggered a lengthy investigation leading to the arrest.

The driver and an 82-year-old female passenger were not injured.
Joseph Thevarkunnel, of Richmond Hill, is charged with criminal negligence causing death.
He’s due in court April 21.
