The filing comes just two days after the one year anniversary of the crash.

Air Canada flight 624 crashed on its landing at the Halifax Stanfield International Airport in the early morning hours of March 29, 2015.

All 133 passengers and five crew members aboard the Airbus A320 were able to escape. Wagners says some aboard the plane suffered broken bones, scratches, neck and back problems.

They say the lawsuit will not only provide appropriate compensation for the harm to passengers but also get to the bottom of what happened during the flight and the response to the crash by authorities.

The case will be going to court in December.
