Man stabbed while waiting in line at Tim Hortons drive-thru in Winnipeg

WINNIPEG — A dispute between two people at a Tim Hortons drive-thru ended with a 65-year-old man stabbed.

Winnipeg police responded to the Tim Hortons at 8:45 a.m. after a report of an assault in the area of Lagimodiere Boulevard and Headmaster Row.

Police were told that a dispute occurred between the occupants of two vehicles while waiting in line at the drive-thru.

The 65-year-old driver of one of the vehicles suffered a stab wound and was treated for non-life threatening wounds at the scene.

Winnipeg police are expected to charge the second driver Friday.
