WINNIPEG — A number of people fled a home in the 600 block of Union Street East in the early morning Wednesday after hearing gunshots.
At 1:15 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Tactical Unit responded to the area. After 45 minutes officers got into the residence and located an air rifle inside.

A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with:
- Possessing a firearm
- Pointing firearm
- Discharging firearm in reckless manner
- Careless use of firearm
No injuries were reported.
