VERNON — Vernon RCMP arrested a 24-year-old Lower Mainland man in a dial-a-dope investigation on Wednesday.
The Delta man was living in local hotels and suspected of operating a drug trafficking operation in the community, according to police.
“Following the arrest, officers obtained a search warrant for his hotel room and located quantities of heroin and methamphetamine, an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency, and other drug trafficking paraphernalia,” said Cst. Jocelyn Noseworthy in a news release.
Noseworthy said the man has been released pending a court date for two charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Police haven’t released his name.
