WINNIPEG — Manitoba Hydro customers living in East Elmwood will be without power Easter morning.
The outage will affect customers in an area from Nairn Avenue south to Tyne and Thomas Avenues and east from Watt Street to Panet Road.
It’s planned to last from 6 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.
The interruption is needed to allow Hydro crews to transfer the electrical supply to a new substation in East Kildonan, officials said.
